Dr. Allen is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. She is ANCC board-certified and has over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field. Furthermore, she has a passion for mental health awareness and wellness and believes in a holistic approach as she feels it is important to stay in touch with our mind, body, and soul.

“I am very passionate about providing care to those suffering from symptoms of anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, depression, ADHD, insomnia, OCD, bipolar, and other mental disorders. I take pride in listening to my clients and addressing their every concern. I started my own business to be able to spend time actually getting to know my clients. My goal is to assist you in having a better quality of life by providing insight into your illness.
I understand it can be difficult for parents to ask for help. For children and adolescents struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, or behavioral issues, I offer a place of comfort and support for the entire family. Dr. Patricia Jones-Purdy

Dr. Patricia Jones-Purdy has been an instructor at the UTHSC since October 2017. She received her Diploma of Nursing from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in 2000, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Union University in 2004, a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2009, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in 2023. Patricia has worked in several roles at Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare, including Patient Care Coordinator and Clinical Director. She has also served as Adjunct Faculty for Union University. Patricia is a member of several organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau, the Tennessee Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses. Patricia is also certified as a Neuroscience RN. She has been married for 24 years and has one daughter. Her hobbies include reading and music. Her passion is providing access to underserved communities.

My journey in healthcare began in 2005 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role that ignited my passion for patient care. In 2010, I obtained certifications as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Hondros School of Nursing, and an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing in 2016 from Dyersburg State Community College. In 2020, I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Martin. In 2023, I obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, specializing in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My experience spans diverse healthcare landscapes, from long-term care and primary care to the complexities of oncology/hematology and the challenges of correctional healthcare.. Born and raised in the heart of West Tennessee, I am deeply connected to this community. It is my unwavering mission to provide not just healthcare, but quality care that considers each individual’s unique needs, circumstances, and aspirations. I bring not only a wealth of experience and expertise but also a genuine commitment to fostering an environment of empathy, understanding, and collaboration. I am devoted to creating a space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Deetra Murphy is a licensed social worker with a Masters in Social Work from Union University in Jackson, TN. She also has a Bachelors in
Psychology and Child Development completed at the University of Memphis. Deetra has a passion for helping others and believes mental health is very important at every stage of life. She continues to work with many different ages and populations and wants to help others become their best selves. She is a dog mom, very family oriented, and loves to travel. She also loves to watch crime shows. She works as an elementary school therapist whens she is not working at Insight.

Hi I am Dr. Pat Tharp. I enjoy wearing hats also wear a lot of hats as an Advanced Practice Nurse. I am a CRNA, FNP, CNS in Adult Health and a board certified doctoral PMHNP. I received my ASN, BSN and Post Doctorate at Union University in Jackson TN. My CRNA Completion was done at Harlem Hospital School of Anesthesia, FNP At the University of Memphis and CNS and Doctorate of Nursing was completed at Arkansas State University. Wearing a lot of hats has taught me that if you Fix the Mind the Body will follow! So we must be in tune with our thoughts to effectively heal our mind and body! In essence Good Mental Health is everything and a must!! Please mind your thoughts!! Everything starts with a thought!!
